The Cost of One Grain

It was my graduation time when i was completing my Engineering. I would say the most struggling time i ever had before. there were various moments when i had to face conditions, i could somehow survive those.

well here is one of past event which i felt like to be sharable one, and which makes me to recall how did i survived those conditions. a few of my pals knows about it, but certainly the one who really knows it, did a lot for me.
lets get back a few years before, college time, It was my fourth semester, and i used to get Rs 1500/- as my monthly, pocket money you can say, or whatever the word is. well in that much money I was suppose to pay my monthly rent, dining for three times a day, paying college bus fair, and last but not the least managing some urgently needed accessories, which were always required.

It was 26th of the month (Month I couldn't remember), and my whole money got over, no more to pay for food, although I had a few good friends but I didn't felt it to lend from someone. continuously for 3 days I kept without food. on fourth day, in evening one of my friend called me up, and asked about my day, being harassed from hunger, I couldn't shade up my self, and described her about my condition, she asked me to visit her home immediately and have meals, but my self respect thing, which I should call, made me to deny her offer, after some gossip we draw on a conclusion that I will repair her system, and in return I will have meals.

It was 6:00 PM, I visited her family, they were almost ready with everything, her mom came in with juice in her hand, but first I was to keep my words, I moved to her room, kept screwing with her box for last 2 hours, and than finally, I said, "I'm Done!"

Than I was taken outside where I cant exactly describe, but table was full of delicious dishes, I couldn't resist to hold more, but controlled some how. we had our meal, her mom packed some for me, and than I left the place.

Some times life becomes so easy if some one closes on you and help you out of the situation. I had many instance with me, which made me to recall all those things again and again,

I sincerely thank Sukhdeep Kaur, who not only helped me but also let me to understand the real cost of food, since than I never wasted a single grain of food. it was her sacred efforts that I could understood the concept of "Langar", and regualarly attended in "Gurudwaras".
